Tjarco Cuppens, sports director of the Coop-Repsol women's pro team, states that although they are the only pro team on the list, it must be taken into account that there are several strong Estonian riders. „However we are aiming for a top-result and hopefully we can do this with Aidi. Since this is a home race for Aidi, we would like to support her as our leading rider in Estonia,“ he says.

Cuppens explains that the Norwegian team wants to participate as much as possible in the home races of the team members. "Estonia seems to be a beautiful country and all our riders love to experience racing here. We hope the course will be challenging and looking forward to May 25th," he says.

Race director Indrek Kelk feels good that the Ladies Tour of Estonia is becoming more and more professional. "Of course, I am happy when the Estonian women have achieved good results and got a place in the professional team. What could be better than the fact that they come with the whole team to the Ladies Tour of Estonia. Greater competition naturally increases the quality of the event," he states.

As the sports director of the Norwegian professional team Coop-Repsol mentioned, there are also very strong Estonian riders on the starting line. For example, Kristel Sandra Soonik, who has received both second and third place in the Ladies Tour of Estonia group finish in the last two years. Laura Lizette Sander (AG Insurance-Soudal NXTG) and Elisabeth Ebras (UAE Development Team) also have shown good results on many high level competitions.
