ARTICLE 1. ORGANISATION
The Ladies Tour of Estonia is organized by Club Tartu Maraton (Laulupeo pst 25, 51007 Tartu, Estonia, ph: +372 7421 644, e-mail: tartumaraton@tartumaraton.ee under the regulations of the International Cycling Union. It is to be held on 25.05.2024.
ARTICLE 2. TYPE OF EVENT
The event is open to athletes of the WE and WU category. The event is entered on the UCI Women Elite calendar. The event is registered as a Class 1.2 event. In conformity with the UCI rules, points are awarded to finishers as follows: 40 – 30 – 25 – 20 – 15 – 10 – 5 – 3 – 3 – 3.
ARTICLE 3. PARTICIPATION
As per article 2.1.005 of the UCI regulations, the event is open to the following teams: UCI Women Word Teams (max 3), UCI Women Continental Teams, UCI Cyclocross Professional Teams, Regional Teams, Club Teams, National Teams and Mixed Teams.
As per article 2.2.003 of the UCI regulations, teams must be formed of minimum 4 and maximum 6 riders.
ARTICLE 4. RACE HEADQUARTERS
The race headquarters of the start shall be open starting 24.05.2024 and located at the following address: Tartu, Soola Str 3. Team representatives are requested to confirm their starters and collect their race numbers at the race headquarters from 17:00 to 18:30 on the 24.05.2024. The team managers’ meeting, organized in accordance with article 1.2.087 of the UCI regulations, in the presence of the Members of the Commissaires’ Panel, is scheduled for 19:00.
Race headquarters on the arrival site shall be open on 25.05.2024 from 10:00 to 19:00 and located at the finish area of the race. ARTICLE 5. RADIO-TOUR
Race information will be broadcast throughout the stage. The allocated frequency will be provided at the team managers’ meeting.
Handout of radio transmitters to team managers will take place at the starting area one hour before the start. Each team manager must sign the delivery sheet at receiving and returning of the transmitters, as well as to pay the security deposit 50 €. Transmitters must be returned immediately after the race.
ARTICLE 6. NEUTRAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT
The neutral support is taken care of by means of 3 neutral technical service cars and 1 neutral service motorbike.
ARTICLE 7. FINISHING TIME LIMITS
Any rider finishing in a time exceeding that of the winner by more than 8 % shall not be placed.
ARTICLE 8. CLASSIFICATIONS
The best young rider is the rider, born after 31st of December 2001, who is placed on the best position in the final classification. The price for the best young rider is 100 €.
ARTICLE 9. PRIZES
The following prizes are awarded (in euros):
A grand total of amount 1892 € will be awarded in prize money at the event.
All prizes named in Article 9 will be paid out less Estonian personal income tax and mandatory deductions listed in UCI Financial Obligations. The prizes shall be paid to the beneficiary´s bank account only and not later than 90 days after the finish of the race. The bank transfer order will be based on the final classification.
ARTICLE 10. ANTIDOPING
The UCI and Estonian anti-doping regulations are entirely applicable to the event. The antidoping tests will take place at Aura Centre (Turu Str 10, Tartu).
ARTICLE 11. AWARDS CEREMONY
In accordance with article 1.2.112 of the UCI rules, the first 3 of the event and the winner of the best Young Rider classification must attend the official awards ceremony. The riders will present themselves at the podium in a time limit of maximum 10 minutes after crossing the finish line.
ARTICLE 12. PENALTIES
The UCI penalty scale is the only one applicable.
